Why You’re Getting Branding all Wrong

I’lll get right to it. Brand is not about fancy logos, flashy colors, or cool websites. A brand is your reputation, and reputation is how people feel about dealing with you in a personal or professional matter.

Most people spend the majority of the lives working. They’ve exchanged their god-given time for material wealth.

If they’re going to give it away to people or products then those items better be damn good.

So how does one build a solid reputation? How does one build a reliable brand? Well one way to communicate your intent is storytelling. And in order to have stories to tell you have do something. Like help people solve their problems. To my gamers out there it’s the equivalent of running all the side quests. NPC’s will know your deeds far and wide!

To build a solid reputation start with a solid product then back that product with a guarantee. What’s that you say your product is a service? Even better, price it where people want to pay for it and make sure you can back it up. Sounds easy right? It’s not. In my next article we’ll discuss some how to price products, build case studies and build our reputation.
